Conquest for Paradise - 10 April 2019

As part of our Smart-up Track #7, we organize the Conquest for Paradise event on 10 April 2019.

During this event, Leo Meyer (scientist in the field of climate change at Wageningen University) and Ruud Koornstra (National Energy Commissioner) elaborate on the latest developments in the area of climate change. After lunch we launch our brandnew Serious Game 'Conquest for Paradise'.

About Conquest for Paradise:

In the serious game 'Conquest for Paradise' you experience the transition towards a sustainable society. From the perspective of various stakeholders (politicians, financials, industry, etc) players are challenged to bring balance to the world. A balance that fosters economic growth as well as our planetary boundaries.

By participating in this game you learn about the challenges in the current economic situation and how different sectors affect climate change. Furthermore you experience the complexity of the transition towards a sustainable world and the impact of your own decisions. Finally, you gain insights into what is required to achieve a new and sustainable economic model.
